What do you like most about the drilling industry?
The people. It’s an extension of my family — the way we care about one another and take care of one another.

Most drillers will help you learn processes when onsite. I did not come from the drilling industry so learning more daily.

My wife. Her strength and compassion.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the drilling industry?
Listen to people with experience.

My granddaughter — her smile lights me up.

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Ireland – my wife is part Irish, and we’ve always wanted to go.

Steak.

Coffee with cream — it’s a staple. I go through 2–3 pots every day.
